Day 1 - 7 | Uløya Island | Lodge Havnnes (6 nights)

Day 1 | Welcome to the Arctic Circle
Arrival & Transfer
Arrive at Tromsø Airport, where your private driver will greet you in the arrivals hall before setting off on a breathtaking 3.5-hour journey through Arctic landscapes. Along the way, you’ll pass dramatic fjords, snow-dusted peaks, and charming coastal villages, with scenic stops to stretch and take in the views. At the road’s end, a boat/ferry awaits to carry you across shimmering waters to Uløya Island, where your secluded lodge offers the perfect balance of luxury and remoteness.
Note: Arrivals at Tromsø after 3:00pm will require a night in Tromsø prior to departing for Lodge Havnnes.
Lodge Havnnes
Lodge Havnnes is a striking architectural hideaway set on a private island in the Lyngen Alps, designed to blend seamlessly with its dramatic Arctic surroundings. With just eight en-suite bedrooms, each opening onto terraces with panoramic fjord and mountain views, it offers unmatched privacy and exclusivity. Available only as a full-property rental, the lodge comes with a private chef and concierge, ensuring every detail is tailored. You’ll have a chance to indulge in Arctic-inspired cuisine, unwind in the sauna or hot tub, and retreat to serene lounges framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. A year-round sanctuary, it pairs luxury with raw nature, offering unforgettable adventures beneath Arctic skies.

Day 2 | Whale Watching & Havnnes
Whale Watching
After a hearty breakfast, set off on a captivating Arctic morning with your first thrilling whale safari, venturing into the icy fjords where orcas and humpbacks gather to feed during the winter months. Wrapped in the stillness of snow-capped peaks and crisp northern air, you’ll scan the horizon for dorsal fins slicing through the water or the dramatic breach of a humpback. A knowledgeable guide will share insight about these magnificent creatures and the fragile marine ecosystem they call home. Between sightings, keep warm with hot drinks and snacks on board as you take in the raw beauty of Norway’s winter seascape.
Lunch at the Lodge
Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch with sweeping views of the fjords.
Historic Havnnes & Dinner
In the late afternoon, take a guided historic walk through Havnnes learning about its 6000-year old roots and stockfish traditions. Following your walk, return to your lodge and enjoy the spa before dinner.

Day 3 | Sami Culture & Auroras
Ovi Raishiin Sami Center
After breakfast at the lodge, take the local ferry with your expert guide to the mainland and private transfer to the Ovi Raishiin Cami Center. Here, you’ll walk on snowshoes to the center where you can make use of the traditional sauna and enjoy a delicious lunch in an open fire hut all while learning about the rich Sami and Kven heritage of the area.
Spa & Relaxation
In the afternoon, return to your lodge where you can indulge in the spa and relax before a gourmet dinner.
Northern Lights Hunt
After dinner, experience the magic of the Aurora Borealis on a Northern Lights hunt on your boat, chasing the lights across the quiet fjords. Snacks and warm beverages will be provided to keep nice and warm on board,

Day 4 | Swimming with Orcas
Orca Swim (Tentative)
Rise early for breakfast before meeting at the boat at first light, ready to embark on an extraordinary Arctic adventure. Venture into the fjords in search of orcas and humpback whales, spotting blows, dorsal fins, and seabird gatherings that reveal their presence. Brave the sub-zero waters for a rare freediving experience alongside these magnificent creatures, fully aware of the risks of cold-shock, frostbite, hypothermia, and the intense, cold-induced sensations. Amidst little daylight, long hours of darkness, harsh weather, and total isolation, savor hot soup, tea, lunch, and snacks on board while taking in the stark, breathtaking Arctic scenery.
Spa Treatments & Dinner
In the late afternoon, return to the lodge (approx. 45 minutes) for some spa treatments and a warm dinner prepared by your gourmet chef.
Auroras
This evening, depart after dinner to look for the finest auroras on the west side of the island.

Day 5 | Northern-Most Distillery
Aurora Spirit Tour & Tasting
After breakfast at the lodge, take the local ferry with your expert guide to the mainland and private transfer to Aurora Spirit. This is the northern-most distillery in the world. Here, the owners will take you on a private tour along with the tasting followed by an Arctic-inspired lunch.

In the afternoon, return to your lodge where you can indulge in the spa and relax before a gourmet dinner.

Day 6 | Snowshoeing Lyngen Alps
Slow Morning
Enjoy a slow morning today with a delicious breakfast and time to relax by the floor to ceiling windows. Take in the majestic views of the fjords from your accommodations and enjoy the spa.
Snowshoe Hike
Set off late morning on a private guided snowshoe hike up the mountain-side for spectacular views of the Lyngen Alps. Bring a packed lunch for a scenic rest stop. Later, return to your lodge for an optional wine tasting.
Gourmet Dinner
Enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by your chef.

Day 7 | Departure
Leisure
Enjoy a leisurely final morning at the lodge with a hearty breakfast and relaxation at the spa.
Ferry to the Mainland & Private Transfer
Bid the lodge farewell and take the short ferry ride across to the mainland. Private transfer from your lodge to Tromso International Airport (approx. 3.5 hours).
