Reclaiming Joy
For this next chapter of Eunoia, we gather in the pulsating heart of Marrakech for a retreat that, in many ways, is the opposite of retreating. Ten women will come together inside the living pulse of the medina, staying in a private riad entirely reserved for us. Instead of withdrawing from the world, we will step fully into it. Into color, laughter, movement and the simple joy of being together as women.
This chapter is about reconnecting with the playful feminine spirit many of us have quietly set aside along the way. The lightness, curiosity and spontaneity that once came so naturally before work, responsibilities, and the pace of life slowly took over. For five days, we will give ourselves permission to return to that space. We will explore the city by e-bike, share long meals in beautiful settings, gather for a pizza, pajama and poetry night, meet inspiring local women, and experience Marrakech through new friendships.
There will be dancing and singing; wandering through hidden corners of the medina; moments of laughter that remind us how good it feels to simply enjoy life together. This chapter of Eunoia is an invitation to rediscover joy, playfulness and sisterhood in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
The Retreat
One morning we will set off on an e-bike adventure through the city walls, stopping at various historic sites for snacks. We’ll reach the palmeraie and go off-roading through palm groves and quiet landscapes before sharing a simple, delicious tasting of local bread and olive oil. Back in the medina, we will wander through hidden alleyways and historic monuments with a local guide who will bring the city’s layered stories to life.
Food and conversation will sit at the heart of our days. We will gather for long lunches and dinners in beautiful settings, including a special meal and conversation with one of Marrakech’s most inspiring women who has built a remarkable culinary space rooted in generosity and empowerment. Evenings will unfold slowly, sometimes around a table, sometimes wandering through the city on a curated food experience that reveals the flavors and energy of Marrakech after dark.
And of course, there will be moments of pure playfulness. A pizza, pajama, and poetry night under the lantern light of our riad. Afternoon tea in a serene garden setting. Shared laughter, music, and spontaneous conversations that stretch late into the evening.
Throughout the chapter, Marrakech itself becomes part of the experience, a city of contrasts where ancient traditions meet creative energy, and where every corner invites curiosity. New friendships will form, stories will be shared, and the simple pleasure of being present together will guide the rhythm of our days. This chapter of Eunoia is a gentle reminder that joy, playfulness, and connection are not luxuries. They are essential parts of who we are.

Private Riad
For four nights, we will share our time and laughter in a private riad reserved exclusively for our retreat. Hidden deep within the Marrakech medina, the riad offers a quiet, intimate oasis where we can relax, connect, and fully immerse ourselves in the rhythm and magic of the city of your host.

Intimate Meals
We will gather for meals in beautiful, intimate settings, savoring not just the food but the rhythms of connection. Each meal will be an experience in itself; a chance to linger over flavors, share stories, laugh together, and witness the simple joy of being present with one another in a space designed for warmth, comfort, and celebration.

Shared Rooms
The riad has five rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and all ten women will be sharing these spaces. This is part of the retreat’s spirit: coming together, connecting and experiencing the joy of shared moments. For those who desire a little more privacy, a limited number of single-occupancy rooms are available next door.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to book your spot on this retreat. The balance is due 60 days after receipt of the initial deposit.
