Day 1 | Buenos Aires

Private Transfer

9:00am: Arrival of your international flight in Buenos Aires. As you exit the secured area of the airport, you will be greeted by your personal driver who will take you to your car for your private transfer to your hotel. 

Note: Official check-in time is at 3pm. Please let us know if you would like us to book your rooms the night before to guarantee early check-in.

Lunch Reservation at Huacho

1:00pm: Make your way to Huacho by walking along the streets of Recoleta. Enjoy an Argentine lunch here with a wonderful wine selection.

Recoleta Walking Tour

4:00pm: Meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel. Head out on your first sightseeing tour of the city and explore the aristocratic neighborhood of Recoleta home to the opulent Recoleta Cemetery, Plaza Francia and the Fine Arts Museum. Time permitting, you will have the opportunity to visit nearby galleries and shops which are sprinkled through the neighborhood. With its lavish stately homes and plush hotels, Recoleta is considered by many to be the most affluent neighborhood in Buenos Aires.

Dinner Reservation at Fervor

8:00pm: Walk over to Fervor Restaurant for your dinner reservation. Fervor is an elegant restaurant in the Recoleta neighborhood that serves delicious charcoal-grilled meat and fish specialties. This is a great place to start your culinary journey through Argentina.

Day 2 | Buenos Aires

Southern Buenos Aires Tour

10:00am: With your expert guide, explore the southern neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. The city is comprised of varied and distinct neighborhoods and today your guide will show you the unique characteristics of the southern ones. Begin the day with a visit to the historic Plaza de Mayo anchored by the presidential palace known as the Casa Rosada. Continue on to San Telmo, the city’s oldest neighborhood and the birthplace of tango and stroll through its cobbled stoned streets while browsing quirky antique shops or, sit and enjoy a coffee in Plaza Dorrego.

Lunch Reservation at La Brigada

12:30pm: Lunch reservation at Sarah’s favorite steakhouse in Buenos Aires. An authentic parrilla in the historic and bohemian San Telmo neighborhood, this restaurant serves some of the best steaks in Buenos Aires and they cut it for you with a spoon – that’s how tender it is. Elegant atmosphere and delicious cuts of meat are well paired with La Brigada’s excellent wine collection.

Leisure

After lunch, return to your hotel for an afternoon and evening at leisure. We recommend exploring Recoleta on an independent basis and coffee at the MALBA or Casa Cavia in Palermo.

R.ojo Tango Dinner & Show

7:00pm: Take an Uber or a taxi to the Faena Hotel.

7:30pm: Enjoy the Rojo Tango dinner and show at the Faena Hotel + Universe, Philippe Starck’s design hotel in Puerto Madero. The ambience and intimate red velvet-lined atmosphere will ensure that you have an unforgettable night as you watch the performers enact their singular tango moves, accompanied by modern singing and costumes.

Day 3 | Mendoza

Airport Transfer & Flight to Mendoza

8:45am: Greeting by your host and private transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Mendoza.

11:25am: Aerolineas Argentina flight AR1412 departs for Mendoza.

Arrival at Mendoza

1:25pm: Land at Mendoza Airport. Greeting by your personal host and private transfer to your hotel, The Vines (approx. 1 hour). We recommend grabbing a snack at the Mendoza Airport.

3:30pm: Arrival at your hotel. In the heart of Argentina’s Uco Valley, The Vines Mendoza is a luxury wine resort framed by snow-capped Andes peaks, where private villas and world-class dining meet the romance of vineyard life and the artistry of Francis Mallmann’s open-flame cuisine. Guests can blend their own Malbec, savor bold Patagonian flavors by the fire, and drink in an intoxicating mix of rugged mountain beauty and refined indulgence.

Cooking Class: Empanadas

5:00pm: Learn how to make empanadas, Argentina’s staple meat filled puff pastry at The Vines kitchen. Enjoy your empanadas for an early dinner.

Day 4 | Mendoza

Luján de Cuyo Valley Wine Tasting 

10:00am: Greeting by your expert guide and set off to explore the Lujan Valley area, where you will spend most of your day visiting wineries and wine tasting.

11:30am: The first stop will be at Bodega Benegas for a private tour and tasting. Bodega Benegas is one of Mendoza’s historic family wineries, rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. Under the stewardship of Federico Benegas, the estate focuses on small production wines made from old vines, showcasing elegance, balance, and a deep respect for Mendoza’s terroir.

1:30pm: Enjoy a multi-course lunch with wine pairing at Bodega Quimera by Achával-Ferrer, one of Mendoza’s most respected boutique wineries. Achával-Ferrer is internationally renowned for its focus on single-vineyard wines sourced from old vines in some of the region’s most distinctive terroirs, including Finca Altamira, Finca Bella Vista, and Finca Mirador.

Quimera, the winery’s flagship blend, represents the art of assemblage, bringing together Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot in varying proportions depending on the vintage. The lunch is carefully paired with the estate’s wines, offering a refined and immersive experience that highlights both the precision of the winemaking and the expression of Mendoza’s high-altitude vineyards.

5:30pm: Private transfer back to your lodge where you can relax at leisure with recommended massage and enjoy the beautiful views of the snowcapped mountains from your accommodations 

Dinner at The Vines

Recommended dinner at your hotel’s gourmet restaurant Siete Fuegos. Siete Fuegos, or “seven fires,” is The Vines’ restaurant led by its head chef, Francis Mallmann, who uses open-flame cooking techniques, inspired by Argentine gauchos and European migrations, and refined through hundreds of years of history. Savor the rustic, fiery flavors of specialties like 9-hour slow-grilled rib eye, cast-iron baked salt-encrusted salmon, grilled seasonal fruits, and more, paired with award-winning boutique wines.

Day 5 | Mendoza

Uco Valley Wine Tasting

9:40am: You will be greeted by your host at the hotel and set off to explore the wineries of the Uco Valley.

10:00am: Visit and tasting at Bodega Solo Contigo, a small, boutique winery in the Uco Valley known for its artisanal approach and highly personal expression of terroir. Solo Contigo focuses on limited production wines made from carefully selected vineyard parcels, emphasizing purity, balance, and minimal intervention. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Andes, the visit offers an intimate introduction to the Uco Valley, one of Argentina’s most dynamic and prestigious wine regions.

12:00pm: Visit Bodega Piedra Negra for a private tasting and tour. Nestled in the heart of the Uco Valley at an elevation of around 1,100 meters, Piedra Negra benefits from the region’s unique high-altitude climate and alluvial soils, which contribute to the exceptional concentration and balance of its wines. The winery focuses on small-lot, handcrafted production, with an emphasis on Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay, allowing each varietal to express the nuances of its vineyard site. During the visit, you’ll explore the vineyards and production areas, learn about the estate’s philosophy of minimal intervention winemaking, and enjoy a guided tasting highlighting the depth, elegance, and freshness that define Piedra Negra wines, all against the stunning backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

2:00pm: Enjoy lunch at the Andeluna Winery. Here, a six course menu is paired with Andeluna wines including regional dishes such as Pastel de Papas, Steak with chimichurri, and locally grown figs with goat’s cheese and pear sauce. The kitchen is entirely open for viewing from the dining area, and it is remarkable to see the creativity of these chefs in action. And, as your view in the other direction is an open view of all the vineyards and the Andes.

Leisure

5:00pm: Return back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of your evening at leisure.

Day 6 | Mendoza & Bariloche

Leisure in Mendoza

Enjoy a leisurely morning and a final lunch at The Vines. Choose from a variety of activities on the property or relax by the pool.

Airport Transfer & Flight to Mendoza

1:15pm: Private transfer from The Vines to Mendoza Airport.

4:45pm: Aerolineas Argentinas flight 1707 departs Mendoza for Bariloche.

Arrival at Bariloche & Welcome Hike

6:30pm: Arrival at Bariloche. Greeting by your host and private transfer the Llao Llao Peninsula. Explore this famous peninsula with a brief hike through the Cohihue forest, enjoying the placid views of the lake through the clearings in the evergreen trees and learn about the area’s surroundings, lakes and history.

Continue on to your hotel where you can check-in and have a recommended dinner.

Day 7 | Bariloche

Boating Day

10:00am: Meet your host at the lobby of your hotel. Enjoy a private boating excursion with personal captain on Lake Nahuel Huapi. Stop at Victoria Island where your guide will take you hiking through the wooded areas and trails facing the blue lake.

Victoria Island was inhabited by indigenous people before Spanish colonial rule. A wealthy landowner briefly took possession of the island before the government reclaimed it to serve as a tree nursery for unique and exotic species. The trails among this captivating landscape offer a unique experience in the Lake District’s natural setting. Your expert guide will help you navigate these trails, which are ideal for hiking and exploring.  The southern  part of the island includes the picturesque Cerro Quemado, the highest peak on the island.

Then enjoy an intimate, gourmet picnic lunch, as you dine in the natural surroundings with an elegant setting, complete with a firm table with fine glassware, with cuisine prepared by a private chef.  After lunch hike back to your boat, and continue your boat trip along the lake en route back to the jetty.

4:00pm: Return back to your hotel for some time at leisure.

8:30pm: Dinner reservation at Il Gabbiano located 5 minutes from your hotel. We recommend requesting a taxi transfer with the hotel concierge.

Day 8 | El Calafate

Transfer to Bariloche Airport & Flight to El Calafate

6:15am: Greeting by your host and private transfer to the Bariloche airport for your flight to El Calafate.

9:15am: Aerolineas Argentinas flight 1694 departs Bariloche for El Calafate.

Arrival in El Calafate

11:05am: Arrival in El Calafate. At the airport, your host will be waiting for you, and you will be taken by private vehicle across the Patagonian steppe to your lodge, stopping at the Glaciarium along the way.

The Glaciarium is a modern museum dedicated to the glaciers of the area. Your host will guide you through the museum, as you learn about the glaciers and their preservation efforts. The museum also features an ice bar in the basement

Choose from among the many outdoor activities at your lodge including trekking on Mount Frias, and in La Anita valley, and mountain biking over unique lanes and trails. You will partake in these activities in private with your personal guide. 

Eolo Dinner

Enjoy a gourmet dinner in the lodge with expansive views of the sun setting over the Patagonian steppe.

Day 9 | El Calafate

Full Day at Perito Moreno

7:30am: Private transfer to Los Glaciares National Park (45 minutes), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its keynote Perito Moreno Glacier. You will be taken to the dock to embark on a boat which will take you across the bay as you enjoy views of the immense glacier. Experience an exciting ice trekking excursion on the glacier itself where you will venture across towering ice peaks, huge crevasses, turquoise blue creeks and icy lagoons with an expert guide.

Boating Duration: 30 minutes each way
Ice-trekking Duration: 1.5 hours

This unique trek will introduce you to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers - small lagoons, crevasses and plenty of ice formations in incredible shades of blue.

Note: This is not a private excursion, and has an age requirement of 10 to 65.

Return to dry land for a delicious picnic lunch in front of the glacier. In the afternoon, take the boat back across the bay, and private transfer (15 minutes) to the spectacular catwalks and balcony facing the Perito Moreno Glacier to enjoy the panoramic perspective of this natural wonder. Walking along the different levels of catwalks, enjoy expansive and up-close view of the magnificent glacier

Transfer to El Calafate Airport & Flight to Buenos Aires AEP

10:00am: After breakfast, private transfer to the El Calafate airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.

11:55am: Aerolineas Argentinas flight 1841 departs El Calafate for Buenos Aires AEP.

2:55pm: Arrival in Buenos Aires’ domestic airport AEP. At the airport, your English-speaking driver will be waiting for you, and you will be taken by private vehicle to the international airport for your flight home.

You’ll arrive at the international airport at approximately 5:00pm.

Flight to Atlanta from Buenos Aires EZE

8:55pm: Flight DL110 departs Buenos Aires EZE for Atlanta (booked independently).
