Notting Hill & Portobello Market Tour

Portobello Road is one of the world’s great street markets. Since the early 1880s, traders here have offered everything from fruit and bread to posters, vintage clothes, antiques, ceramics and music to the area’s well-heeled residents. Your private guide will take you to the best shops and stalls whilst tracing the rich history of the neighborhood. Colorful local eateries and pubs dot the area too. See if you can find that house with blue door from the Hugh Grant/Julia Roberts movie and sights from Paddington Bear!

Afternoon Tea at Brown’s

Step back in time at Brown’s Hotel, a London institution with foundations in the early 19th century, for a timeless afternoon tea experience like no other. Just by passing through the establishment, you’re following in the footsteps of icons such as The Jungle Book author Rudyard Kipling, literary doyenne Agatha Christie and horror writer Stephen King. There must be something in the air with such creative outcomes of such visits.

Day Trip Options

Ring of Kerry
One of Ireland’s most iconic drives, the Ring of Kerry offers a full-day circular route through stunning landscapes, charming villages, and historic sites. Highlights include Muckross House, Ladies View, Sneem, Cahersiveen, and the Skellig Ring. It’s a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty and culture of County Kerry.

Dingle Peninsula
This coastal route features dramatic Atlantic scenery, archaeological sites, and the colourful town of Dingle, known for its shops, music, and seafood. We highly recommend Slea Head Drive, with highlights such as Coumeenoole Beach, Dunquin Pier, and the Gallarus Oratory.

Beara Peninsula
A hidden gem, the Beara Peninsula is less visited but incredibly scenic, with winding roads, rugged mountains, and charming villages like Allihies and Eyeries. You can also take Ireland’s only cable car to Dursey Island, weather permitting.

Morning Falconry Lesson
Immerse yourself in an unforgettable falconry session at Sheen Falls Lodge, where you can get up close and personal with majestic birds of prey while strolling through our beautiful estate.

An age-old country pursuit, a guided Hawk Walk takes place under instruction from an experienced falconer. Witness the unique relationship the hawks have with their falconer, while learning how to handle and fly these magnificent birds for yourself.

Explore the Cliffs of Moher & Aran Islands

Standing at 250m, the Cliffs of Moher are some of the most dramatic cliffs in Europe. The area is home to many different species of wildlife including birds, dolphins and the occasional whale. The cliff-side walks have stunning views towards the Aran Islands and Conemara. Doolin2Aran Ferries and Doolin Ferries both offer daily one-hour boat trips under the cliffs from Doolin pier. On your way back to the hotel, take the scenic coastal road to Ballyvaughan via Black Head.

The Aran Islands are located off the coast of the Burren and are well known for their traditional way of life – islanders still speak Gaeilge as their first tongue – as well as their cultural and literary history. There are passenger ferry services to The Aran Islands from Doolin (15km from the hotel) between March and October. This is a full day’s activity with boats returning around 5pm.
