Welcome to Fez: As the largest urban car-free UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fez preserves Morocco’s traditions like no other city. It is the spiritual heart not only of Morocco but of North Africa, drawing pilgrims from across the region, including sub-Saharan Africa, to honor its revered saints. The city is a living labyrinth of ancient streets, grand palaces, bustling souks, and artisans practicing centuries-old crafts. Fez is alive—a city that breathes culture and history every single day of the year. To visit Fez is to pay tribute to the founders of the country and experience Morocco’s spiritual essence.

Spiritual Tour: With an expert guide, explore the important saint’s tombs, mosques, Quranic schools and old institutions including the world’s oldest university, al-Qarawiyyin.

Cooking Class: Step into a home to learn how to prepare a staple meal with Rachida. Walk through the market and get acquainted with the slower pace of life that shapes Fez.

Visit the Tanneries: Witness the centuries-old leather-dyeing process at the Chouara Tannery, where vibrant colors and traditional techniques create a unique spectacle. Enjoy a panoramic view from one of the nearby terraces.

Day 3 - 4 | Sahara Desert

Transfer to the Sahara Desert: From Fez, a 7-hour drive takes you through different landscapes to Merzouga, the gate of the Sahara Desert. Along the way, visit some of the most remote towns of Morocco’s south, such as Rich, Rissani and Errachidia. These areas are known for their date markets and traditional clothing with women in head- to-toe black robes and the men in blue ones capped with turbans. Wander through the streets of these adobe-styled towns and get lost among the locals. Rissani’s date auction is a sight not to miss in the main market.

Sahara Desert: Towards the end of the afternoon, take the Paris-Dakar rally route to reach your desert camp. You will see the soaring dunes of the Sahara Desert ahead. Settle into your tents and enjoy tea with views of the surrounding dunes.

Sand Boarding: Option to go sand-boarding down the largest dunes of the Sahara!

Dinner with Bedouins: Enjoy a traditional bedouin dinner under the stars.
