A COUNTRY BUILT ON RHYTHM

Brazil is too large and too varied to reduce to one image, five time zones, a coastline over 4,600 miles long, and a culture that shifts dramatically depending on where you land. Rio moves to the rhythm of samba and Sugarloaf views. The Amazon holds a fifth of the world's fresh water and more species than anywhere on earth. Bahia carries the deepest Afro-Brazilian roots in the country, its food, music, and religion tracing directly back to West Africa. This is a country that doesn't do quiet, it does joy, loudly, and asks you to keep up.

Trancoso

A barefoot-luxury beach town in southern Bahia, built around a grassy central square (the Quadrado) and some of Brazil's most understated high-end hospitality.

Fernando de Noronha

A remote volcanic archipelago with some of Brazil's clearest water and strict visitor limits that keep it genuinely pristine.
