Petra earned the name "Rose City" honestly, its facades carved directly into sandstone that runs pink and orange at the right hour, a Nabataean capital hidden behind a narrow canyon entrance since the 4th century BC. Wadi Rum follows, and it's genuinely one of the most memorable nights I've recommended to clients, transparent bubble tents facing open desert, no light pollution, no noise, just the sky doing what desert skies do when nothing gets in the way. Amman closes the loop, a capital layered over Roman ruins and a food scene that doesn't get nearly enough credit outside the region.
