This journey is the quintessential itinerary for Spain’s historic heritage and natural beauty. Explore the city of Madrid, followed by an Andalusian adventure through Seville, Cordoba and Granada. End on the beaches of Mallorca where you will explore medieval villages and local markets.
7 days in The Balearic Islands
Spend a week basking in the Mediterranean sun. Start in the island of Mallorca where you’ll hike up mountains and go cave diving from your private yacht. Head to Ibiza for a wellness retreat and end your adventure on the island of Menorca for lesser-known calas and ancient ruins.

Why I love Spain
I grew up in Morocco, just 13km south of Spain, and as a family we used to cross from Tangier to Algeciras by ferry, tracing the history of the Moors through Granada, Cordoba and Seville. Later, as a young adult, I explored the country on my own, deepening my understanding of its layered history and the empires and civilizations that shaped it.
Today I call one of the Balearic Islands home. I have lived in Mallorca for six years, and I have known how lucky I am since the day we moved here from Buenos Aires.
I travel across Spain extensively, and what I love most about it is the people. They are unlike any other society I have spent time with. Depending on where they are from, they will have their own language, their own food, their own culture. People hear Spain and think Spanish. They think paella and tapas. They do not realize the diversity of languages and traditions woven through this country.
Spain is not a one time destination. You will find yourself coming back, as I did, until eventually it becomes home.
